Welcome to the practice of Drs. Crawford Tatum, Jr. and Timothy Tatum. We have the privilege of being able to provide multiple dental services for maintaining teeth and for replacing teeth that are missing or may require removal. We offer multiple therapies for the treatment of periodontal disease in an effort to maintain teeth undergoing gum disease. We offer the opportunity to replace teeth with dental implants or artificial roots to replace teeth in a fixed manner similar to the natural tooth. We also provide dental treatment procedures which include root canals and dental restorations (fillings). Our practice has spent many years developing procedures for the cosmetic treatment of teeth for enhanced smile or restoring the smile.

Our practice has been a pioneer in the use of dental implants for replacement of missing teeth. Dental implants were initiated within our practice in 1968 by our father Dr. Crawford Tatum, Sr. and uncle Dr. O. H. Tatum, Jr.  Because of the various implant systems and years of implant therapy, we are able to provide dental implants for any patient with an acceptable medical history. Dental implants can be used to replace single teeth or dental implants can be used to stabilize dentures. Dr. Crawford Tatum, Jr. is a diplomat of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Prosthetic Dentistry and provides both the surgical placement of dental implants as well as the restorative procedures for placing the teeth on dental implants.
